Dear Saints,
It is the month of July, the seventh month of 2024. This coming Saturday, July 6, provides another opportunity to seek the Lord together during first Saturday prayer.
As a refresher, the Old Testament details the need for the people of God to observe a fast of feasting during the fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth months of the year. This fast is ordered by the Lord of Hosts, and holds significant meaning for the Saints. Historically, those months were used by the people in captivity as ongoing commemoration of disastrous challenges experienced in the deportation to Babylonian captivity. God commanded the people to stop the negativity, and engage in the towb.
For the Saint, we recognize this fast during these months in a proactive manner. Embedded in this biblical fasting agenda is a principle for going forward in God. The fourth indicates our personal need to commit ourselves to God as intercessors before the Throne. The fifth represents our corporate commitment to fulfill the promise and directive from God in going into all the world. The seventh month must indicate our commitment to God’s ways, and to gleaning His specified strategies. This we must agree to seek on the upcoming weekend in prayer. Of course, the tenth month will soon be upon us, and we will look to activate victory in our actual going forward to establish the kingdom.
We desperately need to discover the strategies of the Spirit of God which lead us to His perfect purpose. We must surrender any thought of despair, defeat or unbelief. Doing this will help us all to move forward in alignment with the angelic host of the armies of the Lord.
